CHROME PLATING

Our chrome plating process  ensures you are receiving the best quality plating job possible. The chrome plating process is a method of applying a thin layer of chromium onto a substrate (metal or alloy) through an electroplating procedure.

In simple terms, electroplating is achieved by passing an electric current between two electrodes which are immersed in an electrolyte bath comprising of chromic acid.
One of the electrodes will be the substrate which is to be plated. During the flow of electricity between the two electrodes, chromium atoms are deposited in a layer on
the electrode to be plated.

COPPER PLATING

Copper plating has three main benefits and associated applications, as a decorative finish, a base metal for chrome, tin and nickel etc and as an electrical conductor.

Thickness: Copper plating is 3-5µm.

Decorative Copper Plating: Our copper plating process offers excellent throwing power with a thick coating and excellent levelling that can be easily polished.
A thick copper plating can also cover surface irregularities and generally improve aesthetics.

Copper Undercoat: Our copper plating process offers an excellent pre-plate copper strike for chrome, bright nickel, acid copper and tin plating as well as soldering.

Copper For Conductance: This copper plating process is ideal for enhanced electrical conductance on most substrates including aluminum.

cooper plating is commonly used as a strike, a base coat for secondary electroplating or finishing.

NICKEL PLATING

Electro nickel plating, also known as nickel Plating, is an increasingly popular process for a variety of different manufacturing applications. nickel plating is a process that uses an electrical current to coat a conductive material, typically made of metal, with a thin layer of nickel. Other metals used for electroplating include stainless steel, copper, zinc, and platinum.

In general, electroplating improves a wide range of characteristics not inherently present in the base material. Some of these benefits include:

  • Increased resistance to corrosion

  • Improved hardness

  • Superior strength

  • Resistance to wear

  • Improved ductility

Nickel is considered useful for electroplating metal because it provides superior ductility, corrosion resistance, and hardness. Electro nickel plating can also improve a  product’s brightness and external appearance. Different nickel-plating chemicals incorporated into the process deliver anything from a semi-bright and fully bright cosmetic effect, to matte, pearl, or satin finishes.

GOLD PLATING

Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold onto the surface of another metal, a base coat below gold is used, it is usually nickel. There can be many layers of plating done with multiple tanks on one particular piece. For example a gold-plated silver article is usually a silver substrate with layers of copper, nickel, and gold deposited on top of it.

We can also Brush Plate gold onto new chrome  Nickel and plastics. We remove the chrome from  to reveal the underlying nickel and then gold plate them using any carat of
gold required.  shown are 24ct gold plated giving it a nice bright gold finish that really looks nice. The jewelry stand out well with all the parts in gold.

BRASS PLATING

Brass plating is an electro-chemical process which deposits a thin layer of brass (copper-zinc alloy) on metal. Brass is typically used for decorative purposes over a layer of nickel.  Plated brass s is coated with a lacquer to keep the brass from tarnishing.

METAL POLISHING

Polishing and buffing are Metal finishing processes for metal workpiece's surface using an abrasives and a work wheel s and hand machines in addition to stopping and
cleaning for the removal of oxidization (tarnish) from metals are accomplished using compounds and buffing wheels to accomplish a mirror finish this is also called polishing.
